Provincial court was held on September 4th with Judge Roy Mitchell presiding. Garnet Pinkerton pleaded guilty to impaired driving and was remanded to October 2nd for se- ntencing. Cyril Marcella pleaded guilty to impaired driving and was fined $220.00 and his driving license was suspended. David Helmink was charged with having the care and control of a motor vehicle while im- paired and his case was remanded to Sept. 8th to set a trial date. Rick Hamilton was also charged with impaired driving and also remanded to September 8th to set a trial date. Rene Theriault pleaded guilty to two charges of break enter and theft and one charge of will ful damage. He was remanded in custody to Sept. 18th for pre sentence report. Charles Pelto pleaded guilty to two charges of willful damage and he was placed on proba- tion for three months and ordered to make res- titution. A charge of possession of stolen property against Donald Tychoniak was withdrawn by the Crown. : TERRACE BAY RECREATION DEPARTMENT WEEKLY REPORT SCHREIBER-TERRACE BAY INTERMEDIATE HOCKEY CLUB. The I975-76 hockey season is fast approach- ing and hopefully, with the added potential of a number of new players, the league should be twice as successful as was the last year. For those interested in playing, acting in an executive capacity and, more especially, those interested in refereeing, are invited to attend a meeting on September 22nd, at 8:00 p.m. in the Recreation Centre large meeting room. LEVEL 3 HOCKEY COACHES CLINIC: The Recreation Office has received regis- tration forms for a Level 3 Hockey Coaches Clinic, which will be held in Marathon on Nov- ember 22nd and 23rd for the area. In order for the Coaches Clinic to be held, a minimum of 20 people is required to register. Regis- tration fee for this clinic is $I5.00. Anyone interested in becoming certified as a Level 3 coach, should contact the Recreation Office for a registration form. NORTHWESTERN ONTARIO MUNICIPAL RECREATION ASSOCIATION CONFERENCE : On October 3rd, 4th and 5th, the annual Recreation Conference will be held in the Air- line Motor Hotel in Thunder Bay. This partic- ular conference is open to anyone interested in the development of Recreation in Northwes- tern Ontario. In particular, the conference is geared to members of Recreation committees, mémbers of town councils and, as previously mentioned, people in the communities gsperally interested in Recreation.
