Reeve ,Harold McParland said the move to es- tablish such a centre was started by the mun- icipal council when it was realized that to attract and keep a doctor in the town fac- ilities for his work must be improved, but still kept in the centre of the town. A letter from Costa's re addition to store, relocation of hydro pole and curbing brought forth a resolution from Council outlining all costs must be born by the Foodmarket. The Ministry of Housing sent word the town -ship's housing policy had been approved. The Building Inspector's report was read. M. Tardif and W. Aylward advised Council they will be making application to operate a taxi service in town which will be purchased from the present owner.
