The actual cash as of August I5th is $46,294.29 plus K.C.'s pledge on cash donation ($18,517.75) totalling $64,812.14. Summer is a slow time with people coming and going on vacations. September should see everything back to normal. ; The business areas in Terrace Bay and sch- reiber have not been fully reported. Several workers in Schreiber have not reported any re- sults. All these workers are requested to turn in their folders and results now to shawn Kirkpatrick in Schreiber and Rena McAdam in the absence of Margret puttock, in Terrace Bay, SO that the Fund Raising Committ- ee may tabulate the results to date and deter- mine its future course of action. It is impossible to slate accurately what the projected pledges total. Those employees who have co-operated by allowing payroll ded- uctions have been contacted and it is hoped they will soon provide the information needed to issue a public report. Schneider Ltd. $200.; Local Business = Coach House Motel - $200.; Individual donations - $530.; In Mem- oriam Cards - $22.; Hamilton Foundation, Tor- onto - $500. - Public Relations TERRACE BAY POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORT puring the period August 5th to I7 Members of the Terrace Bay Police Department investi- gated a total of 64 occurrences. August 8th - police were kept busy with a series of damage complaints to store windows, business signs and street signs. A total of five such occurrences were investigated and to date three persons have been charged. Inves= tigations are continuing into the remainder of these offences. August 9th - A Break, place at the Golf Club, with very little being stolen. Also on this date two local residents were charged with impaired driving. One of which was also charged with having open liqu- or in his vehicle.
