GILLEN APPOINTED DIRECTOR OF EDUCATION The trustees of The Associated Thunder Bay District Roman Catholic School Boards are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Patrick Gillen, B.Sc., M.Ed., of Brantford, Ontario, to the position of Director of Educa- tion. The appointment will be effective August I, 1975, Mr. Gillen will be responsibile to the separate school boards of Nipigon-Red Rock, Schreiber-Terrace Bay, Manitouwadge, Geraldton and Nakina areas. Mr. Gillen's background as a teacher, co- ordinator, supervising principal, and, most recently, as Assistant to the Director in Brant County, leaves him well qualified for his future tasks. The above boards, excepting Geraldton, will be combining into a single board, effective January I, I976, making the new-to-be-formed board one of the geographically largest in Ontario.
