JULY 23, 1975 TERRACE BAY NEWS PAGE 9 LEGION GOLF TOURNAMENT The Terrace Bay Legion and Ladies Auxiliary Annual Branch Golf Tournament was held Satur- day, July I9th. Congratulations to Grant Puttock who had Low Net and winner of the Trophy. Runner-up Low Net - Charlie Koski. Low Net Ist Nine - Dave Gunter. Low Net 2nd Nine - Scotty Hamil- ton. Jeannette Gunter was the winner of the Lad- ies with Low Net. Runner-up Low Net - Ollie Chapman. Low Net 2nd Nine - Addie Beaulieu and Runner-up - Dene Clancy. Sharon Bougie of Terrace Bay passed two gold dances and a silver free dance in figure skating under the instruction of Peter Evans ' in Thunder Bay last week. This gives Sharon four gold dances out of a possible five. YOUTH CAMP The 3rd week of Summer Youth Camp is now in progress. Att- endance has been by boys between ages IO - I4 from Terrace Bay, Schreiber, Marathon, , and Manitouwadge. The camp is situat- PROVINCE OF ONTARIO 3h a, Se ed 9 miles east of Terrace Bay on Canoe Lake. The camp is made possible through a Government grant to employ students for summer work. The councillors are Lorr- aine Belliveau and Rodger Ferguson. Activities have in- cluded skills with the canoes and exercises with compasses.
