Dear Editor, This spring Kaministiquia Theatre Laboratory travelled the long roads of Northern Ontario, bringing our unusual style of theatre to 26 communities. The tour was the exciting culmin- ation of our first year's work. And throughout it, we were delightfully surprised by the warm and enthusiastic response we received. In many towns our audiences were small -- perhaps people were unsure of us or of our particular style of theatre, commedia dell arte. Perhaps people were unaccustomed to seeing live theat- re. Nevertheless, those who came proved to us that live theatre can be successful in North- ern Ontario. Terrace Bay was not on our first tour though Schreiber was. We hope next year both commun- ities will be included. We would like to sin- cerely thank the many people in Schreiber who made us feel welcome and without whose help it would not have been possible. If we receive sufficient funding, we will increase the company's.size.
