BABY MOOSE On Thursday, a logging truck on the bush road accidently killed a Moose with Twin Calves. The Natural Resources, Terrace Bay, travelled out and collected the little orph- ans and bought them back to try and bottle feed them because they were judged at less than a week old. Lionel Todd and Gary Johnston were lucky 'Mothers' and many little school children enjoyed watching the feeding. Friday night Lionel Trodd and Jim Chappel took the claves, both cows, up to Thunder Bay where they were taken out on the 7:45 flight to be delivered to the Metro Zoo, Toronto. Jim Chappel has since received a telex from Toronto saying the baby moose arrived safe and sound and are well and happy in the Zoo.
