TERRACE BAY NEWS MARCH 26, I975 ler and Rose- Ken Hanley and ARTS AND CRAFTS DISPLAY Ler both from Bob Adamo from Terr- During the Carnival weekend at Terrace Bay, vinners of ace Bay winners in the C.W.L. of St. Martin's Church held an Art Races. the Men's Races. and Crafts display in the School auditorium. ~Mrs. Edna Ramsay welcomed everyone at the door. Many ladies in the community participat -ed in the show and a wide variety of articl- es were displayed. Lots of gift ideas could be seen, from slippers, sweaters, ponchos, cushions and table mats. Mary Aylward was demonstrating broomstick crotcheting, and Helen Brooks had a hooked rug that she was making and she was demonstra- ting and allowing people to try their hand at rug hooking. These two ladies had everyones attention as they passed by.
