United Church Women - cont'd from page II ... The annual meeting of Superior Presbyterial United Church Women will be held on Monday, February 3rd in Broadway United Church, Thund- er Bay. Mrs. R. Macadam, Mrs. N. Fummerton, Mrs. W. Clemens, Mrs. A. Niemi will attend this meeting. : Letters of appreciation were sent from McCausland Hospital Board for a donation of five hundred dollars and from the Auxiliary to the Hospital for assistance and donations of knitting in the Tuck Shop. Several Christmas greeting cards were also read and enjoyed. After the meeting Miss Gwen Hadley gave a very interesting talk on her recent trip to Honolulu, Fiji Islands; Australia and New Zealand and showed picturesque slides of the people and the countries. ~ Mrs. Macadam thanked Gwen for her informa- tive address which everyone had enjoyed imm- ensely and presented her with a small gift of appreciation. Members enjoyed penny auction in charge of Mrs. Macadam and Edith Clemons 'and exchange of gifts. DR. K.
