HOLD MEETING AT BIRCHWOOD TERRACE The Schreiber Women's Institute held their regular December meeting in Birchwood Terrace Home, with Mrs. Anne Todesco presiding and ; several of those in the Home welcomed as guests Mrs. Wesley Clemens presented a corsage to Mrs. Jessie Macadam, resident in the Home, and Life Member of the local Institute. Members answered roll call by presenting cards and gifts for the residents. Motto for the meeting 'Christmas is not onl for children' 3 It was decided to defer the money draw un- til the February meeting. Mrs. Joe Campbell reported sending a rose bowl to Mrs. Eleanor O'Connor while she was in McCausland Hospital. The Nipigon Institute sent their regrets in being unable to attend, saying they could not attend afternoon meetings. Informative literature from the Consumer and Corporate Affairs Dept. was studied, it dealing with Christmas shopping for food, children's toys and winter clothing. V.
