Seppala presented the financial statement and read the minutes. The principal object of the meeting was to elect a new managing committee. Those elect- ed were Mrs. Prina Gerow, as chairman; Mrs. Camilla Legault as secretary-treasurer and Mrs. Edith Hubelit, Peter Gerow and Raymond Goodchild made up the five member committee for the 1974-75 term. 3 NOTICE The Schreiber Art Club will resume classes Monday, January |3th from |-4 p.m. at the Schreiber Public School under the direction of Alice Sparkes Evening classes will resume on Wednesday, January 8th from 7-10 p.m. under the direction of Colleen Glad IN THE NEWS THIS WEEK 20 YEARS AGO - DECEMBER 16th, 1954 Stork Club Congradulations are extended to Mr. and Mrs. Michael Dobush, a son on December 15th. Mr, Herman Comeau of Schreiber was the winner of a 21" Marconi Console TV at a Knights of Columbus Raffle. A farewell party was held in honour of Dot Dazell by her Bridge Club at the home of Sparky Black. The hospital staff also honoured Mary Weddal at a farewell party at the Hotel Terrace. 20 YEARS AGO - DECEMBER 23rd. 1954 - Stork Club Congradulations this week go to Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Papousek on the birth of a son on December 17th. The H.C. Landrys have been busy welcoming daughter Mar- garet from Toronty daughter Helen from Branksome Hall in Toronto and friend Kathy Best from Winnipeg. Congradulations are extended to Ken Landry, son of Mr. and Mrs. H.C. Landry who recently received his degree of Chartered Accountant. Mr. Gordon Rowlandson, Pulp Department will be trans- ferred to Research and Development, Neenah, Wisg¢.and R.G. Sherriff, Technical Superintendant will replace Gordon as Pulp Department Superintendant. North Shore Hockey League Saturdey - Terrace Bay puli- ed their goalie in the last minute of pley, but time and the superlative net minding of Gold Minors (Geraldton), well- known Chic Thompson was against them and the game was lost 7-6.
