DECEMBER 11, 1974 TERRACE BAY NEWS PAGE 9 EDWARD BEAR & NEW POTATOES WELCOMED Wednesday and Thursday, November 27 and 28 showed two exciting evenings for young and old alike. Many enthusiastic people welcomed Ed- ward Bear and the New Potatoes as they came to perform for the Terrace Bay Youth Club. Everything started off with New Potatoes doing a set and warming the audience up for Larry Evoy, better known as Edward Bear. Each night the audience was scanned for some lucky girl to keep Barry Best (Edward Bears organist] co for one song. The first night the lucky girls were Karen Hara and Karen Nicol and then the second night Donna Gellert. Because of doing such a good deed they were all rewarded with a record from the group. Everyone was having such a great time that before we realized it, the concert was over. But to help us remember Edward Bear and the New Potatoes pictures were given out to every- one. ; The Terrace Bay Youth Club would like to express their thanks to Edward Bear and the New Potatoes for without them this great event would not have been possible. Also the Club would like to extend special thanks to everyone who helped make the concer- ts a success.
