PAGE 8 : ; TERRACE BAY NEWS DECEMBER 4, I974 YOUNG VOYAGEUR WRITES REEVE ROY BRAY "Dear Mr. Bray, Enclosed, as you may have already noticed, is a photograph of the Young Voyageurs, both of Terrace Bay and of the Duncan-Corvichan area. As you'll recall, this was taken during a ban- quet held for the Young Voyageurs in the summer months. I guess you'll be able to spot your- self in the picture as well as Keith Penner, and all the rest of the Voyageurs. (You won't spot me, since I took the picture!) If you still can't figure out who I am, I was that chinese kid, around 5'2" maybe, with black hair.? Anyways, I'm irrelevant, I guess you could just say I was one of the Young Voyageurs from Duncan! But, anyways, I would just like to comment on your first-class community. During my week- long stay there, Terrace, Bay certainly lived up to my great expectations as well as its repu- tation. Although I don't know what the north shore of Lake Superior is like, Terrace Bay certainly seemed to be the "GEM OF THE NORTH SHORE". The cleanliness of the streets and the warmness of the people will stay in my mind for years to come. Warm families like the Sitko's and the Pytycks' to name just a couple. The town of Terrace Bay was just super to me and the Young Voyageurs, and on our behalf, we'd just like to thank the beautiful town of Terrace Bay for letting us stay there for one great week. Yours truly, Ted Wong ~ NG Young Voyageur) ."
