~ NOVEMBER 28, 1974 TERRACE BAY NEWS PAGE 7 LEGION REMEMBRANCE DAY DINNER The Legion Branch 223, held a Remembrance Day dinner on November 9th. Jack Stokes, MPP, For this riding, presented Legion President, F. Cruickshank, with a plague from the Provin- ce of Ontario commerating the 25th anniversary of the Terrace Bay Legion Branch 223. It was in 1949 when the original charter was granted to this Branch. Mrs. Stella Gusul, President of the Ladies' Auxiliary to Branch 223, presented F. Cruick- shank with a cheque from the Auxiliary in the amount of $6,500! This will go towards repay- ing the money that the Branch owes on the bui- lding. The members of the Branch realize the amount of time and work that is required to make such a large donation to the Branch. This] is in addition to other monies the ladies have raised, and donated to community organizations. The photograph below shows Mrs. Stella Gu- sul presenting the cheque to Mr. F.
