Badminton Club Elects At the annual general meeting of the Terrace Bay Badminton club, the follow- ing officers were elected to conduct the affairs of the organization during the 1951-52 season. Harry Hall caught the prize winning beauty, a lake trout that tipped the scale at 31 pounds, 10 ounces, to win the Lake Trout Derby and set a new fish record. It was the biggest one ever caught in the Terrace Bay area. The Derby, promising to be an annual event under the leadership of Terrace Bay's new Fish and Game club, was held September 16 during a 12-hour period. Harry took home the Emerson table model radio for first prize. Stan Hodgkiss' 23 pound, three ounce catch took second prize® and Joyce Clifton's 21 pound, seven ounce catch was third. Other winners in order were Maurice Kulcheski, fourth, with a 21 pound, five ounce fish; Rune Ostling, fifth, 19 pounds, two ounces; F. Rone, sixth, 17 pounds, one ounce; Mrs. J. Whent, seventh, 16 pounds, four ounces; Jim MacDonald, eighth, 16 pounds, eight ounces; Thor Olsen, ninth, 16 pounds, five ounces and Sam Boyd, tenth, one pound. Prizes included an oil and grease job, a ton of coal or 100 gallons of fuel oil, glass casting and glass trolling rods, cast- ing reel and other merchandise.
