Barnett re a Breathalyzer Unit has instituted council to look into the purchase of such a unit. The July Police Report was read. Under new business a resolution was drafted and passed to hold a vote at the forth coming Municipal Elections for liquor in Terrace Bay. This must now be processed through the proper channels to be an addition on the ballot. Young, Voyageur Program - continued The B.C. students returned by jet to Victoria on July '13th. Local students who had acted as hosts paid a return visit to B.C. starting on July 23rd. Our trip was filled with excitement from the first day, as most of the students had never before been on a jet. In B.C. we were billett '=ed in homes in and around the community of Duncan. The next week was a hectic round of activities, including a day long tour of Mac- Millen Blondel logging operations, a day in Vancouver, a day spent on a navy cruise and a tour of the naval base at Esquimalt, a day in Victoria, and a day of exploration on the open Pacific Ocean on the west coast of Vancouver Island. And as before, social activities or- ganized by the Duncan students contributed much towards the success of the exchange. On July 31, our students, escorted by Mr. and Mrs. Baron, flew from Vancouver to Ottawa. For the next three days they toured Ottawa and Montreal as guests of the Department of the Secretary of State. Meals and accommodation were provided at the University of Ottawa. On August 3rd we flew from Ottawa to Toron- to to Thunder Bay and arrived home at about 9:30, very tired but much wiser from our ex- perience. Fo i uh
