A pot luck supper, held in the Community Church basement was a big success, with all sorts of delicious food brought and enjoyed by everyone there. That evening, the Playground Variety Show was held in the St. Martin's School Gym, the theme being the "Wild World of Entertainment". Guest stars included Frank Cannon Coupal, the crew from the Starship Enterprise, the Osmond Brothers, and Sonny Ballentine and Cher Beau- lieu with their daughter Chastity Kostiuk. Swinging in from the jungle was Guitarzan and friends, starring Greg Kostiuk, Eleanor DePaolo and Rob St. Louis, and all Delta Dawn (Norman Beaulieu) made a great appearance to the sing -ing accompaniment of the 7 - I4 year olds singing Delta Dawn. The 5 and 6 year old children dressed as girl Ducks sang a number entitled "Six Little Ducks" and were a big hit, with the added fea- ture of authentic duck costumes made by their mothers. We would like to thank all the kids who act- ed or sang in the show to make it the success : it was. Also to the parents and friends who came to watch the performance. Special thanks goes out to David Stortini and Dennis Arsen- ault who acted as curtain men for the evening. SWIM POOL NEWS: A reminder that the final tests are this week.
