On July 3Ist a break, enter and theft at the high school was reported and is under in- vestigation. On August Ist a report of damage to the win- dows of a business establishment was received. On August 9th a theft of a tape deck was reported from a car - investigation revealed this offence to be unfounded. Two reports of youths disturbing the peace were investigated with negative results. Four charges were laid under the Highway Traffic Act; two charges under the Liquor Control Act; 32 motor vehicles were safety checked with 26 warnings issued and 8 persons were checked through CPIC. In court on Tuesday, August 6th, Provinci- al Judge Sargent presided when Wallace Fisher pleaded guilty to driving at 95 in a 60 zone and was fined $I05.00. David Bedard pleaded not guilty to squeal- ing his tires and after hearing Police evidence was found guilty. : Jermaine Paradis who was charged with pub- lic mischief failed to appear and a warrant was issued for his arrest. cont'd page 6 ...
