JULY IO, I974 TERRACE BAY NEWS PAGE I7 GOLF NEWS: Gerry Dupas and Clarence Buck were in stiff competition for 29 holes before deciding who would walk off with the Knights of Colum- bus Trophy on Sunday, June 30th at the Aguasa- bon Golf Club. Thirty members of the Men's Senior Club entered in the I8 hole handicap tournament. which ended with Gerry and Clarence both tot- alling a net of 67 forcing a nine hole play- off. After 9 holes they again were deadlock- ed which was not broken until Dupas put Buck to defeat the 2nd hole of sudden death play. Girls I7 and under. - Ist. Carolyn Vander- kam, 2nd Terry Aulenback and Joyce Kurylo. I7 and over - Ist. Joe Desaulniers, 2nd. Bevin Schritt, 3rd. Charlie Wise. Girls I7 and over - Ist. Sally Turner, 2nd. Claudia Stevens. The Reeve's Trophy is awarded for this ev- ent. The first place winners in each category will have their names enscribed on the trophy and smaller trophies will be presented to the winners - Ed Angus, Carolyn Vanderkam, Joe Desaulniers and Sally Turner.
