L VANDALISM AT TERRACE BAY SWIM POOL It appears that some people just go out of ; their way to cause extra expense to the tax- payer as well as creating a very dangerous si-4 tuation at our outdoor swimming pool. : Within the past few days, some people have managed to do some very sickly acts causing extra maintenance, loss of supplies and a dan- gerous pool to swim in. Some of the sickly acts are as follows: Broken glass and fluourescent tubes into = the main pool; Mixing chemicals together, re- y sulting in a complete loss of supplies and ex--- tra maintenance to replace same; Turning num- | erous valves on the filtration system, caus- . y ing water level in the pool to go.down and resulting in some pumps sucking air. One would wonder why these sickly people have to cause this type of vandalism at a community facility which is appreciated by many of the people in our community. 3 Anyone caught using the swim pool facilit- i ies after hours will be dealt with in a court of law.
