D'Arcy Furlonger left on Monday with Jeff Lee of Ottawa to meet Lloyd Whiting and his father in Kenora from where they will go by truck to Red Lake. And, from there they will begin their 250 mile paddle of the Blood Vein River, expecting it to be a three week trip. D'Arcy and Lloyd were with the party who pad- dled 350 miles up the Missanabie River last summer, bringing back some marvelous camera shots, and graphic descriptions of their ac ren -ture. They are inclined to place priority on pl- enty of cameras and supplies, fishing gear next, but with Mr. Whiting's wisdom, (he being an experienced bushman), relatives, this year feel that equal importance will be given to food supplied.
