Mrs. Todesco, Mrs. Campbell and Mrs. Bolan were named to attend the district annual meeting to be held at the McGregor Recreation Centre, Thunder Bay, on May I5th. A resolution, dealing with advertising of beverage alcohol, which will be voted on at the district annual meeting, was discussed. The book kit, of almost 200 books, by Can- adian authors, was received, and the decision farmers in farming techniques both by train- ing and research. Mrs. Ann Todesco presided for the meeting. Miss Christine Bottomley of London, Ont. is home visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Bottomley. Ken Harper, of Thunder Bay is a business visitor in town this week.
