The place; Atlan- ta Stadium. The time: 8:05 p.m. (EST). The participating teams: Los Angeles Dodgers and Atlanta Braves. The principal subjects: Al Downing, pitcher for the Dodgers, and Hank Aaron, outfielder for Atlanta. A That was the time, the place and all the other details you want to know about the most immortal annal in baseball history .. the night Hank Aaron hit his 7I5th career home run. Luckily, I was awake to watch (live and in color ... on the boob tube), the greatest mom- ent in pro sports. The night Hank Aaron eclip~- sed the late, great Babe Ruth's home run rec- ord. If you missed it the night of the game, no doubt you'll see it again (on video tape, movies, TV commercials, etc.) because it real- ly was a night to'remember. Hank was the second man up to the plate in the bottom of the fourth inning. The lead-off batter had reached first on an error and the crowd gave Hank a standing ovation as he kicked the dirt off his cleat and waited for the first pitch. . . The Dodgers were leading 3-I at the time. - Oct. 23 - Nov. 21 Al Downing's first pitch to Aaron was low and inside... a ball. Downing shrugged his shoulders and took a deep breath. Downing went into his windup for the second pitch. He wasn't so lucky with this one. Hammerin' Hank took a mighty swing and headed towards first base. The ball sailed, and sailed, and sailed and sailed a little more until it cleared a sign in left-centre field that read: "Bank Americard ... Think of it as money." Home run No. 7I5, eclipsing the Babe's record, continued page 5 cc... your week ahead sr or aw. ows Forecast Period: April 21 to April 28 In one form or another, your income will in- crease. Actually, most members of your sign are going to receive aid or support from routine associates. For many under your sign, activities at home base will increase. Incidentally, you might check into a minor repair that might parlay into a major reversal. : Stand by to face a series of minor, but irritat- ing, reversals. The point? Stick to "bread and butter" routine, avoid emotional explosions. And too, don't provoke the opposite sex. Don't take yourself too seriously. According to your chart, there will be too much concern with things that are not truly your responsibility. It seems as though you will receive unexpected support from co-workers or associates. A mem- ber of the opposite sex wants to help - there's strings attached. : Think in terms of being socially acceptable. You have reached a point when good- grooming and first impressions are important, very important. Smoldering animosity, that now exists among your associates, could flare up. Stellar patterns render obvious advice; stay neutral; there's no expediency in taking up sides. Feel secure in the knowledge your ability for making decisions is nearing its peak. So, take advantage of this favorable influence; meet this week's problems - confidentally. Don't discuss personal problems with an asso- ciate. According to your chart, a friend might betray your confidence, unthinkly. Also, avoid malicious gossip heading your way. Affairs of secret order, intrigues, clandestine activities, confusion and secret enemies . . . best describe this week. Obviously, you face a period of unseen adversity. Interruptions at your work or during your daily routine, believe it or not, will be welcomed. Very little, if anything, can go wrong, this week. Envy and jealousy lies beneath the veneer of ° several so-called "friends." Beware of behind the scene; clandestine activities -- already, un- derway!
