ER Mrs. Peggy Thompson, convener for the Christmas bazaar, suggested a Parcel Post idea wherein members ask their friends from out of town to mail a parcel before the bazaar, which "is in turn put on sale, unopened, at the bazaar Conveners are still needed for the Novelty table. The Afternoon Group having been in favour of turning over the Manse fund to the Church board, for renovations to the Manse, the treasurer was instructed to send a cheque to the treasurer of the Board. Coffee and lunch will be served after the Good Friday service, convened by Mrs. Ropchan. Mrs. McKague, leader of the Joy and Hosanna Singers, stated that the choir from Thunder Bay, directed by Mrs. Wilma Ayers, will again spend a weekend as guests of the local choirs, on May 4th, having a Sing-Song and Social, Saturday evening, after which the Auxiliary will supply the lunch. The meeting was adjourned and Mrs. Peggy Thompson took the Worship:period, doing a read- ing from the book, "In The Hands of God". Lunch was served by Mrs. Barnett and her committee. " SEPARATE SCHOOL BOARD MEETING The regular monthly meeting of the Schreib- er-Terrace Bay District Roman Catholic Separate School Board was held in the Resource Centre at St. Martin's School, Terrace Bay, at 6:30 p.m., on Tuesday, April 9th/74. Clerk-Treasurer, G. Mullins, and five board members were in attendance: M. Bouchard, R. McBride, M. Nicol, I. Moorey and Y. Beaupar- lant, Vice-Chairman, who handled the proceed- ings in the absence of the Chairman. Minutes of the March I4th regular meeting were approved as distributed. Sister Marvel Belfry and Michael Anderson, Principals of Holy Angels School, Schreiber, and St. Martin's School, Terrace Bay, were in attendance to present a comprehensive report on the activities in their respective schools, particularly in the areas of integrated class- es for reading, literature, grammar and compo- sition.
