APRIL IO, I974 TERRACE BAY NEWS PAGE 5 Kings won one, tied two and lost three. All three losses were shutouts. : As you read this, the playoffs are unde way. I must say only one of the eight teams I picked to make the playoffs failed to show. That was Minnesota. I had picked the North | Stars to finish third in the west. Seven out of eight isn't bad though. The orders of finish weren't exactly the way I picked them either, but it wouldn't be like me to have a perfect record. I had Montreal finishing first and Boston second, but the Bruins fooled me. Or I should say, the Canadiens fooled me. They missed Ken Dryden and that was all there was to it. I also had the Leafs ahead of the Rangers, in third place. It was just the way I forecasted it for the first two spots in the west: I. Philadel- phia; 2. Chicago. L.A. fooled me by sneaking into third and Atlanta fooled me even more by taking fourth. My Stanley Cup predictions next week 1!
