PAGE I2 TERRACE BAY NEWS APRIL IO, I974 MEN'S ANNUAL CURLING BONSPIEL An extra end had to be played on Sunday af- ternoon at the Terrace Bay Men's Annual Curl- ing Bonspiel, to determine the winner of the Spadoni Trophy and first place in the prizes. The winners were from Thunder Bay, except for the skip who now resides in Terrace Bay. They were Cam Burgess, skip; Darwin Wark, Cal Sherrer and Marty Crowley. Runners-up were Joe Poitras, Walter Mayo, Len Olsen and Larry Turk. The McLeod rink was third and the Caccamo rink came in fourth. Bob Robers of Terrace Bay and his fellow curlers, Archie Heinrich, Bob Wallwin, Jr., and Bob McMillan, came in first in the second event, followed by Dick Baron's rink, Moore's third and fourth, Bob Hopper. Winners in the third event were the Bill Tetley rink from Thunder Bay, with Bruce Walk- er, Tom Kelso and Bruce Molano.
