PAGE 8 TERRACE BAY NEWS MARCH 20, 1974 CONGREGATIONAL SUPPER A capacity crowd attended a Pot Luck Con- gregational Supper at the Community Church on Sunday night. More tables had to be added to accommodate the people who arrived to share in the Gourmet meal. > It was strictly "Pot Luck", with no prior arrangements as to who would bring what. Con- vened by Mrs. Vera Kennedy, assisted by Mes- dames Marg Simmer, Marge Lundberg, Connie Cvitkovich, Gertrude Soughton, Marg Duriez and many others who did dishes and helped Clear away, the menu included many different casseroles, salads and desserts. The hall was beautifully decorated in honour of St. Patrick's Day by Mrs. Pam Jones. Mr. Dave Barnett acted as Master of Ceremon- ies. Rev. McKague was called upon to say Grace. After everyone had dined, Mrs. Margaret McKague held an informal sing-song, with her Joy and Hosanna singers leading in the singing. . Miss Carla Crockford played two piano solos. ; Tea, coffee and Kool-Aid were supplied by the Church Board and a good time was had by all.
