HELP MISTER WHITE GLAD TO 'ELP, ANDY THAT SURE WAS A L GLOWIN' CHARACTER ANNUAL CHRISTMAS TREE AND CONCERT Tommy Bouchard chaired the Annual Christmas Concert when the children of the village took part in the various numbers on the program. The entertainment opened with the singing of Canada's National Anthem "O Canada". There were three plays "A Christmas Vision" "Elves and the Shoemaker" and "Waiting for the Train". An Arcostic of the ABC meaning of Christmas. Both a senior and junior square dance were very well executed by the school pupils, Christmas Carols "silent Night", "Deck the Halls with Holly", "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer" were enjoyed, and several Christmas recitations were heard. The singing of "Here Comes Santa Claus" ushered in the Jolly 01d Fellow who distribut- ed candies, nuts and fruit to the children and gifts from a well ladened tree. Miss Laurie Mushquash of Thunder Bay was home over the holidays. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Campbell and son Daniel of Thunder Bay visited relatives here during the festive season. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Lanigan and family spent the holiday with his relatives .in Tor- onto and Peterborough area.
