TERRACE BAY WINTER CARNIVAL TO BE STAGED MARCH 7TH TO 10TH All citizens in the community of Terrace Bay should plan to keep the dates of March 7th to IO0th free as the Third Annual Winter Carnival will be held at that time. The Winter Carnival Planning Committee would like to congratulate the organizations which have indicated their support and parti- cipation in the Winter Carnival programme. There are still some organizations we have not heard from as yet. Please remember that without the participation of your organiza- tion, it makes the job of holding the Carnival that much harder. We would also like to remind everyone in Terrace Bay that our planning meetings are open to the entire public. Therefore, if you are interested in helping us plan for the Carnival, which is really for the benefit of everyone in Terrace Bay, please plan to att- end the meetings. Our next meeting will be held on Monday, January 2Ist, at 7:00 P.M. in the Conference Room of the Recreation Centre. Carnival buttons have been ordered and the Planning Committee hopes to receive them with- in the next week or two. Buttons will immed- iately be available for purchase at various outlets to be announced later at the reduced price of .50¢ per button. By reducing the price of buttons from $I.00 to .50¢, we hope more people will support the Carnival by pur- chasing their own button. More details pertaining to the Carnival will be announced next week as we will be listing the organizations that have indicated their willingness to participate.
