Beth Macadam reported that the Auxiliary will hold their Spring Dance on April 20,I974. The Tuck Shop Committee is looking at new furniture for the hospital waiting area and will be submitting a proposal to the Board. The Auxiliary will make a donation for the pur- chase cf a wheelchair, commode and Life (approx. total cost of §550.). Under new business, a resolution was passed to review the current weekend standby pay pol=- icy in six months. Resolutions were also pass- ed to approve personnel policies on statutory holidays and coffee breaks. Barry Stephen, Treasurer, presented a report on the September Operating Statement. The hospital is:§5,370 over the budget but this is offset somewhat by an ircrease of 239 (8%) patient days. Roy Bray anncunced that Mrs. Peggy Helmink has been selected as our area representative tc the Steering Committee for the proposed Thunder Bay District Health Council.
