Weeks, the Budget Committee will consider requests from Principals for funds to cover ice rental costs for sports conducted under the school program, e.g. = intramural curling. The Board accepted the responsibility for payment of annual O.A.E.A.O. Membership for the Director of Education.. Correspondence included: from the Honour- able Thomas L. Wells invited the Board to meet with him in Thunder Bay on November 21st. Mr. E. Hickerson, of Lake Superior High School staff, indicated his desire to purchase 260 ' Kenogami Road, Terrace Bay. M.P.P. J. Stokes replied to the Board's letter re: Re-Invest- ment Legislation for O.M.E.R.S. Funds. The Manitouwadge R.C.S.S. Board invited Trustees to an Official Opening Ceremony on November 27th. Reliable Life Insurance Company indica- ted a willingness to re-word for clarity para- graph 3, page 8 of the Master Policy. The Board Solicitor will be asked to re- word the clause in the Reliable Life Student Insurance Policy relating to paragraph 3, page 8. of the Master Policy. The Schedule of Insurance of the Dominion Life Group Insurance Policy #G 3378, was changed effective September I, I974, to elim--- inate discrimination against female employees.' Mr. Hickerson will be notified the house at 260 Kenogami Road, Terrace Bay, is for sale under present Board policy. Trustee A. Allen presented a Notice of Mo- tion in writing to the Board re: Sale of Teach erages. Travel Allowance will be increased from I3¢ per mile to I6¢ per mile. Discussion on the location of Board Meet- ings during the winter months of hazardous driving resulted in a committee of A.S. Gordon H.J. Boudreau and R.A. Cressman being formed to draft a revised policy for Board consider- ation subsequent to receipt of input from each area through: G. Fairservice-Manitouwadge; R.P Ungar-Marathon; A. Allen-Terrace Bay; A.S. Gordon-Schreiber. The Committee of the Whole Board reported that the delegates nominated in October will meet with Mr. Wells, Minister of Education, in Thunder Bay on November 21st. The next meeting will be held at the Lake Superior High School - Terrace Bay Campus, at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, December 15th. The Ad Hoc Committee on Teacherage Rentals will meet at Marathon High School, at 9:00 p.m on Monday, November 26th. TOPS NEWS REPORT The Schreiber-Terrace Bay Tops On. 1586 are proud to report that our club received a special "Supervisors Award." This was present -ed at the Thunder Bay Rally by June Corcoran the area supervisor. It was the first of it's kind given to a club for Accumulative Accomplishments, Spirit and Enthusiasm. Our members look forward to lining up to this award with a great future in the I974 season, and adding to the over I700 pounds lost in the Ist year. Winners at the Thunder Bay rally were Yvonne Vienneau - North Western Division; Lois MacRae - Runner-up; Helen Dooley - Largest looser in K.I.W. These accomplishments took place in a three month period. Dot Coupal - Second largest looser of all graduating Kops.
