ALL COMMUNITY GROUPS AND ORGANIZATIONS SHOU- LD MAKE SURE THAT A REPRESENTATIVE IS AT THIS MEETING IF THEY INTEND TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CARNIVAL. Two co-chairmen are still required for the Planning Committee. Make this community event your event by attending the meeting. CHESS SESSION CHANGED FOR THIS WEEK ONLY: This' week the regular Chess session normally held on Wednesday evening will be held this Thursday, November 29th at 7 p.m., in the Con- ference Room. The Sports and Recreation Branch in Thunder Bay are presently attempting to local a Chess instructor to enable our community to sponsor a weekend Chess clinic. More information on this will be announced at a later date. TERRACE BAY RINGETTE ASSOCIATION FORMED: At a meeting held on Monday, November I9th, an executive was elected to form a Terrace Bay Ringette Association. This executive along with students and adults who indicated their support will now be planning the girls' Ring- ette programme for our community. The executive is as follows: President - Wendy Schritt; Vice-President ~ Tara Greenwood; Secretary = Cindy Cole; Treasurer - Nancy Bouchard. From time to time adult assistance will be required and it is hoped that a number of ad- ults in our community will be available to help out this newly formed association. * TERRACE BAY BADMINTON CLUBS: A reminder that the Terrace Bay Adult Bad-, minton Club holds three sessions weekly at the Terrace Bay campus, as follows: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays - 8:00 to I0:30 p.m. Anyone who 'would be interested in joining the Adult Badminton Club should contact the pres- ident, Mr. Art Beaulieu, at .3320. The Junior Badminton Club for Grade 7 and 8 students only operate weekly sessions at the Terrace Bay campus on Saturday mornings.
