The sev- enteen people that are now renting space will be advised accordingly. The $5.00 fee does not cover the taxes, electricity and the snow removal costs that will be occurred. The dec- ision as 'to what will be done with the build- ings will be brought up at a later date. It is possible that the five on the lower level will be used for the storing of equipment. At a general meeting with the five western municipalities the progress of Birchwood Terr- .ace was reviewed. The Board policy in rela- tion to new residents was explained in detail and the Administrator Mr. M. Vibert, stressed the fact that extended care beds numbered 34 of the I50 beds available. The municipalities stressed the need for more communication with the District Board and Board members agreed to deal with this at their next meeting. One suggestion was to hold two meetings, one in the spring and one in the fall. Presently, all municipalities re- ceive minutes of the board meetings and news reports. The clerk-treasurers will be instruct -ed to make sure these are presented at Council meetings. A short discussion took place in relation to the change in legislation whereby municipal- ities will be appointed members to serve on the Board. It was noted that the Director has informed the municipalities to direct their inquiries in regards to these appointments to Mr. M. Graver, Regional Administrator. STORK CLUB: Born to Mr. and Mrs. N.
