PAGE 8 TERRACE BAY NEWS NOVEMBER 7, I973 HOSPITAL BOARD MEETING "A regular meeting of the McCausland Hospit- al Board of Governors was held on October I6, I973 in the Terrace Bay Municipal Office. The minutes of the previous meeting were declared adopted as circulated. Frank Anderson, Chairman of the Development Committee, reported on his meeting with the Hospital Auxiliary. The ladies were enthusias -tic in offering their ideas regarding the health needs of our area and the committee will try to arrange meetings with other comm- unity organizations who would like to partic- ipate in the planning of a new health facil- ity. Barry Stephens resigned as Chairman of the Finance Committee but will remain as a member of this committee. Don Beno was appointed as the new Chairman. Bill Kirkpatrick reported that the Public Relations Committee has heard many favorable comments about Frank Anderson's meeting with the Auxiliary. Bill reviewed the preliminary plans for the I974 Hospital Membership Drive. A suggestion was received from the Auxiliary that the Board consider a joint membership drive.
