Hospital Board Meeting =- continued Dr. Adey reported receipt of a letter from Dr. Harvey at Nipigon Hospital requesting use of hospital medical records for a regional cardiac research project. A resolution was passed that the hospital allow its records to be used for this research project under the supervision and control of Dr. Adey, Chief of Medical Staff. } Beth Macadam indicated that the Tuck Shop Committee would like to spend some of its funds on new furniture for the hospital wait- ing room. This was agreeable to the Board. Under new business, Rena McAdam introduced Harold McParland, Reeve, Township of Schreiber who had requested a meeting with the Board to discuss co-ordination of planning for the Schreiber Medical Centre and the work of the Hospital's Development Committee. A lengthy discussion took place on this subject with the immediate problem being the location of the Thunder Bay District Health Unit Office and the Optomotrist's Office. A resolution was passed that the Board recommend to the Schrei- ber Municipal Council that the area office of the Thunder Bay District Health Unit be locat- ed in the proposed Schreiber Medical Centre. The Administrator will send a copy of -this resolution to Reeve McParland. The next regular meeting was scheduled for November 20, I973 in the Schreiber Municipal Office. Born to Mr. and Mrs. M.
