SEPTEMBER I2, I973 PETRUS-MACDONALD- VOWS EXCHANGED Wedding vows were exchanged between Sharon Ellen MacDonald and Tadeusz Petrus in St. Martin of Tours Church on Saturday, August 25th, at 4:30" p.m.. Father A. Greengrass offi- ciated. Sharon is the daughter of Mrs. Alma MacDon- ald and the late Conley MacDonald. Ted is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ludwig Petrus. Orange and yellow gladioli graced the Altar Mrs. C. Buck was at the organ and Mrs. Margar- et Ann Hardy was the soloist. Joseph Campbell and Stephen Sechesky were Altar Boys. Given in. marriage by her brother Mike MacDonald, Sharon wore a floor length model gown of white nylon Organza over white Taffeta The lace rounded neckline of the dress was ad- orned with a frill of finely pleated ruching, edged with small daisy chain. The daisy chain also outlined the Empire waist and the tiny sleeves were fashioned from the pleated ruch- ing and daisies. The very frilled skirt fell softly to the floor and the hem was also out- lined with the ruching and daisies. Her Queen Anne headdress set with seed pearls, held a three tier bouffant veil, and. a long train, both of which were edged with white lace. She carried a bouquet of yellow and orange roses, cattails and sheaves of wheat. The Matron of Honour, the groom's sister, Mrs. Leila Sali and the bridesmaids Anita Watson and Tammy Campbell were gowned alike in floor length mauve floral dresses, backless and with an Empire waist line. They wore mauve Picture hats and carried pink, white and yellow mums, set with daisies and Baby's brea- th. : The flower girl was Carrie Campbell and the Ring Bearer was Joseph Kenny. The Best Man was Douglas Corner and the usher, Richard Petrus. For a reception at the Moose Hall, Mrs. MacDonald received wearing a floor length Polyester Organza gown with matching coat, the dress featuring a ruffled neckline and cuffs on the sleeves, in a floral design of yellow, coral and soft green. With this she wore a Gardenia corsage. Mrs. Petrus also received, wearing a floor length soft blue Crimplene model, softly fitted and a Gardenia corsage. 4 The Toast to the Bride was given by- her brother, Jon MacDonald. Mrs. J. Santerre was Dining Room Hostess and Cathy Campbell circu- lated the Guest Book. For travelling to Dryden and Winnipeg, the Photo by Frank Commisso bride donned a red and white ensemble, featur- ing smocking and an empire waist. Mr. and Mrs. Petrus will reside in Kitchen- er. Prior to her marriage, Sharon was given a shower at St. Martin's Church hall hosted by Leila Sali, Brenda Campbell, Dorothy Kenny, and Barb Mendelin. Out of town guests were Mr. and Mrs. M. Vitone, David and Murry Allen, Sudbury; Mrs. R. Laderaute, Webbwood; Mrs. T. Rantinen, Sud- bury; Mr. and Mrs. K. Foster, Toronto; Mr. and Mrs. B. Hubelit, Nova Scotia; Mrs. Barbara Szpunar, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Jasmih, Mr. and Mrs. J. Sawicki, all of Toronto. PLAN TO ATTEND THE HEALTH COUNCIL MEETING!
