Douglas of Webbwood to visit their brother Jos Douglas and family in Sioux Narr- ows for the past week. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Schelling are holidaying in Thunder Bay and Duluth, Minn. this week. Laurie-Anne Mushqush is holidaying with rel -atives in Thunder Bay. Evelyn Schroeder had Anna and Viana Bain, Anita Bouchard and Jacqueline Goodchild to help her celebrate her I3th birthday. They en -joyed themselves with a swimming party follow -ed by luncheon with the decorated cake and ice cream as the main luncheon attraction. Evelyn received several gifts. Her Aunt Ella Schroeder of Germany helped Mrs. Schroeder serve the refreshments. CAROL SADOWICK WEDS IN TERRACE BAY White and pink Glads adorned the altar of St. Martin of Tours Church on August 4, I973 at 4:30 p.m. for the marriage of Carol Ann Sadow- ick to Mr. Ted Just of Marathon. Very Rev. A. Greengrass officiated with Mrs. Margaret Ann Hardy as soloist and Mrs. Marg Simmer organist. Carol is the daughter of Bill and Stella Sadowick of Terrace Bay and Ted is the son of Irvin and June Just of Marathon. The bride, escorted down the aisle by her father, donned a floor length victorian style gown of champayne swiss lace over organza. Satin covered buttons danced from the high col -lar of her dress to the raised waist line. A self attached train caught by a bow fell from the back of her waist line. Her hair was caught by a cluster of pearled flowers and buds in a julette type headpiece which attach- ed to a cathedral length veil. She carried a puff bouquet of pink sweetheart roses and Lily of the Valley. The maid of honour, Miss Marie McGuirk from Marathon wore a floor length penifore gown of mauve and champayne voile and carried a basket of purple tinted carnations. The brid- esmaids, Miss Marie Sadowick and Susan Andrews sisters of the bride, and Miss Lynda Neufeld wore identical gowns as that of the maid of honour. Lauri Stachiw, flower girl, wore a similar gown as that of the bridesmaids, mint green and champayne viole and carried a basket of green tinted carnations. Best Man was Mr. Bill Dick and ushers were Dave Manyrk, John Andrews and Dennis Viklen. For a reception following in the Moose Hall the mother of the bride received wearing a floor length gown, empire waist style of brilliant pink fortrel with a white orchid cor -sage. Mother of the groom received wearing a floor length gown of turquoise polyester crepe and a white orchid corsage. The toast to the bride was given by Mr. Buck Matiousky. Guest book was circulated by Miss Tracey Sta- chiw and dining room hostess was Mrs. Maybelle Weberg. For a motor trip to Montreal and surround- ing area the bride wore a palazzo jersey suit of black and white polka dots accented by a white orchid corsage. Out of town guests were Mr. Buck Matiousky, Dauphin, Man.; Mr. and Mrs. Galbraith, Gorrie, Ont.; Mr. and Mrs. Tait, Mr. Billy Dick, Squa- mish, B.C.; Mr. and Mrs. John Andrews, Bramal- ea; Miss Marie Sadowick, Mr. Glenn Smith, Ott- awa; Miss Joanne Just, Winnipeg; Mr. and Mrs. Heintz, Mr. and Mrs. D. Viklen, Mr. and Mrs. Zatoulsky, Miss Lynda Neufeld, Mr. Rod Neufeld Allison Hill, Mrs. Shynkaryk, all of Thunder Bay and numerous guests from Marathon. Mr. and Mrs. Mark Doig of Trenton are hol~- idaying at their summer home at Walker Lake, having their daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Roger Mitts and their sons Steven and Marc of Vancouver with them. Mr. and Mrs. Peter Doig and family of Schreiber are also enjoying the family reunion. Sympathy is express to the family of the late Mrs. Lloyd Boudreau during their loss.
