Mrs. Lawrence won the hidden number. : Jean Megraw has twenty-five extra proof cards left over from the hockey season. A motion was passed to keep these and run a pool on the Grey Cup finals. . A motion was passed for Audrey Smith and committee to hold the Penny Auction at a later date. Dorothy Koski will run another home bingo in July. The Fathers Day Tea will be held on June I7th instead of the IOth. This will be in the new legion hall from 7 to 9 p.m. Auxiliary members will be contacted to bake apply pies for this event. The district representative, Mrs. Paxton, will attend the general meeting in June. A motion was passed to send a donation in aid of war veterans in the Caribean. The ladies auxiliary will once again handle the free treats for children on July Ist. Marg Duriez will be in charge of tickets and volunteers will pass these from door to door. Anne Latour will be in charge of buying 'material to make tablecloths and Audrey Smith has volunteered to make the cloths. A motion was passed to purchase four cut- lery trays for the new kitchen. A donation was sent to the Cancer Fund on behalf of the ladies auxiliary. Coming events = Circus - June I3th to I7th. Ruth Mitchell was entertained by her bridge club last week when Ruth and Ross began the evening with cocktails at Mr. and Mrs. Gorhams. Following a dance being held the party ended at the home of Marg and Barry Stephens when Ruth was presented with an Irish Belik picture.
