GUIDING NEWS Recently ten of the Senior Guides were giv- en a very interesting and excellent tour of the Kimberly-Clark mill by Mr. Bob Deutscher. Many of the girls collected small samples of the process, so as to be able to start work on their 'Industrial Badge'. Two of the Guides .will be visiting a company in England this summer while on vacation and they are making a scrap book of Kimberly-Clarke and are hoping to bring one back from the other company on their local industry, so as to be able to show the Terrace Bay Guides. Once again Police Chief David Barnett visit -ed the Girls, and gave them an evening on Safety on the Roads. The Leaders hope that all the Girls who ride bicycles on Highway I7 will adhere to all the Safety rules discussed. Now is the time for hikes, camping and camp fires and the Natural Resources Department.gen -erously donated all sorts of literature on these subjects. Mr. John Stanford was the vis -itor for April and he spent a few informative hours with the Girls talking on camping areas available, campfire hazards and precautions to take when using campfires, especially in the Provincial Parks .and about beautiful nature continued page 4 ..
