The facilities in the Caravan 'include lectronic equipment, video tape recorder, oloured slide presentation, a display of 'ollege equipment, as well as brochures, bull- tins, calendars and information concerning he college and its program. The public is cordially invited to inspect he College Caravan, to avail themselves of he information concering Confederation Coll- ge programs, and to speak to a qualified ounsellor on Post-Secondary education, as 7ell as the Retraining and Extension Divisions Mr. and Mrs. Harold Gellert are holidaying in England where they will meet their nephew, im Gellert, who is studying at the University ln Birmingham. Mr. and Mrs. Emil Matson of Nipigon visited irs. Albert Koski last week. Visiting last week with Mr. and Mrs. Ed \icol were Mr. and Mrs. A. Sahl, Mrs. E. "harbon, Miss Marna Charbon and Larry Charbon 111 of Thunder Bay. Mrs. Bill Furlonger visited Mr. and Mrs. "rank Auger in Thunder Bay. Garth Wood and Jnos Gurley former Schreib- ar residents, now of Fort Francis visited "his week with Mr. and Mrs. Norman Bottomley, Ir. and Mrs. Neil Nesbitt and Leon Cote. The wheel has turned full circle in the 30b Ellacott family in Schreiber. Mrs. Ella- ott, the former Inga Jacobson, of Copenhagen net her husband while he was with the Canadian \rmy, & married in Canada. Mrs. Ellacott vanted her son to learn her native language, 50 it was decided to send him, for secondary school education to the famous Vallekilde school - some 50 miles from Copehagen. This school, for boys only, is a residential one, attended by boys from all over the world and two subjects are compulsory = Danish history and the Danish language, with a wide range of other subjects. Gordon has been in Denmark since I969, and this winter married a girl there, with, strangely, the name - Susanne Jacobson! And now, he is seriously considering making his home in Denmark. SHOWER HONOURS BRIDE-ELECT Miss Susan Phillips, bride-elect of this month, was honoured at a shower tea arranged in St. John's Church Hall, when receiving with her were her mother, Mrs. Burton Phillips, her fiance's mother, Mrs. Margaret Godin and Miss Edith Walker. The tea was poured by Mesdames George Ramsay, M.J. McGrath, Arthur Lemieux and Norman Lemieux. Mrs. Gerry Godin was table hostess and servitors were the Misses Jewel Paradis, Debbie Caccamo, Ann Bailey, Susan Dimmery, Donna McGrath, Judy Richardson and Nancy Lundstrom. Mesdames Len Crockford, George Riley, Rob- ert Turner, Lloyd Small and Alex Gordon re- plenished.
