No. I4 April II, I973 I5¢ Per Copy LOYAL ORDER OF MOOSE DONATES TO MENTALLY RETARDED ASSOCIATION Members of the Terrace Bay Loyal Order of Moose, 1752, recently held a raffle, with the proceeds going to the local chapter of the Association for the Mentally Retarded. Here George Birch, Governor of the Lodge, is seen presenting Mrs. Peggy Helmink, Presi- dent of the Schreiber-Terrace Bay Association for the Mentally Retarded, with a cheque. Mrs. Helmink, in thanking Mr. Birch on be- half of the members, stated that donations are made annually to the Caroline McMorland School for the Trainable Retarded, in Marathon which includes two children from Terrace Bay, so that the money served a worthwhile purpose right in this area. BY-LAW RE-ZONING MEETING A meeting of particular interest to those who may consider themselves in any way involved in the re-zoning of Terrace Bay is being held Monday, April I6éth at 7:30 p.m. Township Council and the Terrace Bay Planning Committee will be on hand to review the general content of the by-law prior to its passing. MCCAUSLAND HOSPITAL BULLETIN With the second annual meeting of The McCausland Hospital Corporation less than two weeks away, it is per- haps a suitable time to share ones feelings and thoughts about trustee- ship or being a member of the Board of Governors. Our local Hospital Board consists of eight elected members, one hospital representative appointed by each of the Municipalities of Schreiber and Terrace Bay, the President of the Aux- iliary to The McCausland Hospital and the Chief of the Medical Staff - giv- ing a total of twelve members. Members are elected for two year terms, with at least four candidates standing for election each year.
