More assis- tance is still required to act as referees, linasmen, coaches, etc. and volunteers will be gratefully accept- ed - contact any of the executive. The ladies curling league have elected the follow- ing new officers:president-Kay Fraser; first vice-pres- - ident-Edna Cocks; secretary-Mrs. Richardson; treasur- er-June Dukes; publicity-Charlotte Miller. Their season will start with an open welcome bonspiel on November 3 and 4th, with regular curling to begin following the bonspiel. Miss Jacqueline Zborowski was entertained by her friends at a shower tea held in the United Church hall when she was assisted in receiving by her mother, *Mrs, Tony Zborowski, her fiance's mother Mrs, Peter Com- misso and Miss Debby McDonald, who will be maid of honour at the wedding. The tea was poured by Mes- dames Carmelita Costa, Dominic Commisso, Dominic Figliomeni, and Jim Figliomeni. The servitors were Mesdames Cosimo Figliomeni, Peter Commisso, Jim Speziale and Peter Speziale and the Misses Mary and Rosa Costa, Mary, Rita and Teresa Figliomeni, Linda Commisso and Sylvia Speziale, Replenishing was done by Mesdames Joe Costa, Sara Costa, Vic Costa, Cosimo Costa and Nick Commisso Gifts were opened by Maria and Ida Commisso and guest book attended by Mary and Frances Costa.
