Mr. and Mrs. Lionel Hubelit of Wawa were in the village on the weekend visiting Mr. and Mrs. Mac Hubelit. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Todesco, Chas, Charlene, Joanne and Loreen have returned to their home in Sarnia after visiting the former's parents, Mr. and Mrs. C \W. Todesco. Mrs. Ron Lanigan is a patient in a Thunder Bay Hospital . Mrs. Jos Brassard and Mrs. Albert Rouble had a pleasant surprise this week when their cousin John Paulmert and family of Kingston, Ont. paid them a visit. They had never met before but recognized each other from the strong family resemblance. Mac Hubelit and daughter Maxine were Thunder Bay visitors this week. Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Boudreau have left for Timmins after holiday- ing with his sister Mrs. Bill Hubelit at Battle Island lighthouse. They were accompanied home by their nephew Ronald Gauthier of Espanola Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Chweutti, Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Waugh, Beverly and Tracy of Thunder Bay were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Rouble this week. Doctor and Mrs. Robert Speers and family of Ann Arbour, Mich., are enjoying local fishing and camping and were successful in catching several fine trout. Professor and Mrs. Wm. Godin of Michigan University, Ann Arbour, Mich. have arrived on a camping and fishing holiday. Messers Ray and Clarence Kindschi of Beliot, Wis., have added some fine catches of lake trout to their memories of a happy vacation spent in Rossport this year. Mrs. Audrey Nicol of Manitou- wadge was a business visitor here this week. Mr. Alex Zwaresh spent a few days visiting in Thunder Bay. Mr. and Mrs. Chas Wilde and family have left to holiday with relatives in Montreal . John and James Hubelit have re- turned home to Wawa after holiday- ing with their grandparents Mr. and Mrs. M. Hubelit. Miss Diane Campbell has returned from Europe and is holidaying at her parents summer cottage here. Mr. and Mrs. George Schelling have returned to Windsor after a holiday with the Bill Schellings. Many yachts from the U.S.A, and Canada berthed here this past week. Among them were the "Time-Out", "Sea Saw", "Lady Ruth", "Spray", "Osprey", "Mardi Il", "White Whale", and the tug "Despatch.
