McCuaig, Mr. and Mrs. Roly Martin and Mr. and Mrs. Euclid Morin. Mr. and Mrs. Noman Bottomley and Mr. and Mrs. Neil Nesbitt and their families have returned from a lengthy holiday in southern Ontario. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Watson and family of Toronto, with Neil Brown of Ireland, visited Mr. and Mrs. Lester McCuaig last week. The Frank Figliomeni family are enjoying a family re-union, with Mr. and Mrs. Cosimo Figliomeni and family from Toledo, Ohio; Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Macchi (Sara Figliomeni) and their family from Thunder Bay; Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Figliomeni and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Figliomeni and their families of Schreiber all in the parents" home. Charles, Ralph and Gerry Lundberg of Duncan, B.C. are the guests of their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. David McLellan, visiting also Mr. and Mrs. Greg McLellan, Mr. and Mrs. Danny Riley and Mr. and Mrs. Eddy Duffy. Sister Monica Greengrass of Peterborough is home visiting her mother, her brother, Father Alex Green- grass and her sister Mrs. Gabe Gauthier and family. Sister Olivia Fortier of Haileybury visited Mrs. . Bill Gerow last week - the two having been teachers in the same town a long time ago. Mrs. John Patterson and family of Toronto are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Karl Kazmiercjak, while visiting other old friends. Rev. John Romrnel, of St. Paul's Church, Thunder Bay conducted the service in St. Andrew's United Church on August 6th, having the pleasure of baptising three babies = Justin Jeffrey Davis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jody Davis; (nee Daryl Lynn Weaver) Kevin Ross, son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Miller, (nee Charlotte Ross); and Suzanne Rachel Lapointe, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Lapointe (nee Isobel Crook). Visiting with Mrs. Ethel Smitheman are her sister- in-law Mrs. E.M. Cameron of Strathroy and Mrs. Bill Forrest - having joyous visits with old friends here. SHOWER HONOURS BRIDE-ELECT Miss Karen Kushnieryk was honoured at a shower- tea arranged by friends in both Schreiber and Terrace Bay in St. John's Church Hall on Friday evening. Receiving with her were Mrs. Bill Kushnieryk, her mother; Mrs. Ron McBride, her fiance's mother; Mrs. Michael Chepelsky, her aunt; and her brides- maids Miss Joyce Cluett and Miss Jane Duggan. The tea was poured by Mrs. J.D. Bryson, Mrs. Douglas Reynolds, Mrs. Ken Dooley and Mrs. Jack Richardson. The servitors were the Misses Joyce Richardson, Lee Courtney, Janet Lengyel, Dawn Dietrich, Heather Brown, Cathy Anderson and Melanie Ukainec. Replenishing were Mesdames Hobden Spikula, Denis Connelly, George Lengyel, Don Brown, Alex Juryk, Douglas Courtney, D .Q. Hamilton and Peter Ukrainec. Chartour of Whitby, Ontario were holiday visitors here this week. Mr. and Mrs. George Boudreau and family of Thunder Bay visited Mr. and Mrs. D. Mushquash on the weekend with Cathy, Sharlene and Kenneth re- maining for the week.
