A.S. Gordon, vice chairman of the Lake Superior Board of Education presented their congratulations. A formal welcome to high school was given by E. E. Forgues, principal of Lake Superior High School . The Rev. Rex Dye offered a closing prayer. Following the program the students, staff and parents enjoyed an hour of dancing. SCHREIBER TOWN TOPICS Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Drake visited Boyd's parents Mr. and Mrs. Gary Drake en route from Thunder Bay to their new home in London, Ontario. Lynn Drake is visiting Bill Drake in Cash Creek, B.C. Mr. and Mrs. Greg McLellan of Nanaimo, B.C. are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. David McLellan, visiting also Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd McLellan. Mr. and Mrs. George Anderson (nee Joyce Todden and their family of Saskatoon are visiting Mr. and Mrs. Norman Bottomley and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Dunham, Mr. and Mrs. H.W. Gellert were certainly the busiest hosts over the holiday weekend. Their guests included Mrs. Elizabeth Clyne, of Transcona, Man., Mr. and Mrs. Allan Brown, of Milwaukee (relations) the entire Klomp-Wakefield ball team from Thunder Bay, and the usual local friends - making the party some forty-five or more. The walls bulged, the rafters rang with laughter and despite the breathing room only space, the crowd still man- aged to sing to Herb's accordion. Miss Myra McCuaig is visiting Mr. and Mrs. Frank McCuaig in Capreol . The children's summer playground program this year is being sponsored by the Opportunities for Youth, the leaders being Kevin Scott, Linda Huard, Kim Krause and Darlene Fummerton. There are no fees, the course beginning July 10 and lasting to August 11, with classes Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to I'p.m. Boys and girls four to seven are welcome and all events will be held on the grounds, and inside of Holy Angels Separate School.
