The Recreation Office originally received 71 names for this type of course back in the Fall of 1972. Since that time, the Recreation Office has had to complete a lot of re- search to try and get an instructor for the course. Since we have now reached the time of year to operate the course, the response for it has diminished rather significantly . More news concerning the Personal Development Course will be advertised next week. CRAFTS DISPLAY IN TERRACE BAY - MAY: 9th The Ontario Crafts Foundation will have a crafts display available for viewing in Terrace Bay on Tues. May 9th. The Terrace Bay Art Club, in conjunction display and hope that as many people as possible will visit it. Crafts involved in this display are top-notch and it would be worth your while to take a few minutes out to go to the High School Audi- torium between the hours of 3:00 and 9:00 PM, on Tuesday, May 9th. ART WORKSHOP The Recreation Office has received a few requests regarding workshops in Oils, Water Colours and Acrylics. Prior to securing an instructor for this type of workshop, the Recreation Office would first like to determine how many would actually be interested in this type of course. If the Recreation Office receives sufficient interest in this workshop it would most likely be held on a weekend. Details of such a workshop cannot be advertised at this time as the interest for such a workshop must be indicated first. The Recreation Office will accept names of in- terested persons up until Thursday, May 4th. Register by calling the Recreation Office at 3542.
