Last week, Keith Penner, M.P., and a delegation from Geraldton and Longlac met with the Canadian Radio Television Commission and CBC officials to present their case for an extension of TV viewing hours in the area served by the transmitter located at Geraldton. The conclusion of the meeting was that there were a number of ways in which this service could be provided at fairly reasonable cost. CRTC and CBC gave a verbal commitment to look at the possibilities with a view of giving viewers a late movie as soon as possible.
