At 3:30 a.m. November 15, 1970 a disturbance . was investigated on Peary Street. The two partici- pants Charles Peltier and Arthur Duhamel were issued warnings. On November 17, 1970 Constable J.E. Wills apprehended a wanted person for Thunder Bay O.P. P. Lestie Dunbar was arrested and escorted to Thunder Bay. A quantity of liquor was seized from John Jeseph Kelly of Warkworth, Ontario on November 18, 19- | 70. Kelly was charged with under the provisions of the liquor Control Act. Richard Doyle of Terrace Bay reports that four stereo tapes were stolen from his parked vehicle on November 18, 1970. Investigation into this matter is continuing. During the night of November 20-21, 1970 a C .P.R. Telecommunications ski-doo was stolen off a truck on Brunswick Street. The machine was re- covered abandoned on Hillview Street, Any infor= mation regarding this matter would be greatly appreciated. On November 17, 1970, Constable Lapworth investigated a Hit and Run collision on the Super- test Lot. A vehicle owned by Dominic Figliomeni received approximately $75.00 damage when struck by an unknown vehicle. Once again any in= formation in this matter would be appreciated. Constable Wills investigated a one vehicle coll= ision at the Selim Overhead bridge on November 18, 1970. Driver of the vehicle was Lon Alan Dumser, of Denver Colorado. Damage was estimated at $300.00. On November 19, 1970 two Rossport residents had their vehicles totally demolished in a collision near the Dept. of Highways of Rossport. Ronald Lanigan and John Campbell were the parties involved. Camp bell received serious back injuries and is in hospital at Thunder Bay. This collision was investigated by Constable Wills. On the afternoon of November 20, 1970, Con- stable Bosley investigated three separate one vehicle collisions in the Jackfish area. Vehicles operated by Danald Miller, of Windsor, Judith Douillard of Sault Ste. Marie and Paul Liebigt all lost control of their vehicles on the slippery road surface. Total damage in the three collisions was approximately $650.00. On the evening of November 20, 1970, Constable Lapworth investigated a two car collision near Whitesand Lake. Vehicles operated by Malcolm Dich of White River and Arnold Anderson of Thunder Bay came into collision. Damage was estimated af $1,000.00. Any collision on or off the Highway resulting in personal injury or damage exceeding $200.00 must be reported to police. cont'd page 27 .......
