PAGE 14 TERRACE BAY NEWS SEPTEMBER 10,1970 Among those attending the James Hamilton-Patsy Dimmery wedding in Thunder Bay on Saturday were Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Clemens, Miss Edith Clemens, who was the maid of honour, Mr. and Mrs. Paddy Bolan, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Winters, Mr. and Mrs. | Henry Dimmery and Mr. and Mrs. Gus Krause. Mike Kurnicki is in St. Joseph's Hospital and Bill Whent is in McKellar Hospital, Thunder Bay. Walter llijow has returned after spending his vaca- tion in Toronto. . Albert Crook, visited Mr.and Mrs. Russell Macadam last week en route from Letellier, Man. to his home in Peterborough, Ont. Russell O'Brien is in the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, where he was accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Harry Duggan. Mr. and Mrs. Archie McColeman have moved to of Mrs. Forbes Macadam. Mr. and Mrs. Irving Cosgrove and family of Thun- der Bay are visiting the former's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Austin Cosgrove. HOLY ANGEL'S HARP - 6TH DAY Thursday morning we were allowed to sleep in an extra hour. We got up and ate breakfast and then set out for the Ontario Science Centre. We got there: and were amazed with the size and beauty of the building. When we got in side we didn't know which way to go because everything was so fantastic we could hardly belive our eyes. We tried so many things our fingers were sore from pressing buttons. Later on when we finished our tour we were brought to the shopping area. We limited our steps in the stores because one extra step around the corn- er would get us lost. There we shot all our money and returned home with parcels and empty wallets. Miss Phylis Wiznuk and Mrs. Jim Duggan were hostesses for a baby shower for Mrs. Norman Boon and twin son and daughter. The party was held in Mrs. Duggan's home and was attended by thirty-five friends from Schreiber ~ and Terrace Bay. Mrs. Boon sat in a decorated chair to open the many individual gifts. their new home on Drummond St. the former residence |. Holy Angels photos by John Small. Mrs. W.T. Wallace was hostess for a farewell party for Mrs. Jeffie Macadam attended by the following friends: = Mesdames J.D. Bryson, Bill Thrower, Russell Macadam, Bruce Simon, George Cataford, Ann Lalonde, Hubert Weaver and Miss Irene Spicer. A gift of lingerie was presented and the evening spent in reminiscing. Mr. and Mrs. John Power and Mrs. and Mrs. M. G. McGrath were in Pembrooke last week to attend the funeral of Mrs. Jimmy Cull a sister of Mrs. Power and Mr. McGrath. Mrs. Albert Bourguignon of New Glasgow, Nova Scotia visited her sister Mrs. Tim Glad and other relatives last week. ~ Sister Anna Cosgrove who will be in Manitouwadge this year is home visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Austin Cosgrove.
