The choir and guest took a boat tour of the Berlin Lakes, before they re- turned to Berlin for a fare well dinner and headed for home. They found accommoda= tions excellent on this trip, the people friendly and helpful, and in most places, able and willing to speak English, and the meals served were gener- ally good. Father A. Gvora, of St. Martin's Church, Terrace Bay, another mem- ber of the choir, was in- deed fortunate in his free time, fo be able to attend the Passion Play held at Oberammergau, not far from Munich, Germany. Nestled below the Bavar- ian Alps, the town of 5,000 presents the Passion Play once every ten years, to an estimated audience of half a million people. The cast is chosen from the people of Oberammer- gau, farmers, wood carv- ers and shopgirls. This year portraying Christ, was Helmut Fischer, a 38 year old lawyer.
